“To create sustainable income opportunities and skill development programs for vulnerable communities”
Livelihood goes beyond just economics, it includes the broader range of social, cultural and environmental aspects that define how people make a living.
At QFK Reformer, we are committed to creating diverse job opportunities for individuals and families, helping them secure life's essentials, including Roti, Kapda, Makaan with Education. Livelihood involves a wide range of activities, strategies and resources that people use to earn a steady income and protect their well-being. It is closely linked to access to education, healthcare, natural resources, technology and strong social networks.
As part of our skill development program, we have already started providing training to women at QFK Public School and Skill Center, giving them the opportunity to learn so they can earn. However, we aim to expand our initiative to reach other community members who need vocational training, especially men who are currently unemployed due to a lack of skills. We plan to offer a variety of skill suited to their needs such as computer skills, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanics and tailoring. We also want to focus on children, providing them with professional guidance alongside their education so they receive both knowledge and skills. We aim to provide different skills for both women and men separately and train at least 1000 beneficiaries in a year, setting them on a path for a positive start in life.
In the context of development and improving living conditions, livelihood programs and initiatives act as strong drivers of empowerment. By teaching valuable skills, knowledge and providing resources, they help individuals not only improve their economic situations but also enhance their overall quality of life. Our mission is to ensure that each person has the tools and opportunities to build a future filled with dignity, security and prosperity.
